To my SP, I know you are probably anxious and waiting for your package but since I live in a very small town and evidently they seem to have something against one of the things you collect I decided to embroider some on item for you. Well since I have never really embroidered before other than simples lines and such it is taking me longer than I thought it would. Please bear with me. I'm also hoping to get a couple of other little items made for you. I promise to get it out as soon as possible. Okay here is another clue your live 854 south of me.

For my darling SP, well I just finished one of the items I am making for you, don't worry I am also including the pattern, it was free off a website. Have to say, while I was making it, I almost cried cause it just was not looking like the picture and I only have this little bit of fabric left that has your favorite colors in it, I tore it all out and redid it again and again, well finally as I finished it, it is kinda cute! I sure hope you like it, I sure did work hard on it. Now I checked on the special item I ordered for you, and still waiting for them to ship it. Now for another hint. When I drove over the road, the company I worked for has a terminal for their truck driver's in the major city that you live close by.

I "tea dyed" my wedding dress, it turned out exactly how I envisioned it! I love dyeing with natural things, we dyed some muslin with berries and it really turned out beautiful, Beets work nice and bark from walnut shells, not sure if that is what it is called but it is not the shell but the stuff around the outside of shell. Just remember to wear gloves as you can "dye" your hands if not careful~ would love to see your doilies, pictures??
OFF Topic but had to share~ today I played around with "tea-dying" and I just love the way it turned out! I have been getting doilies to make a project for a while now. Some of them are stained and some aren't as white as others, etc. so I decided to tea dye some of them...have heard about it being done but never tried it before. Definitely makes them look more vintage and more like they "belong" together
