Pony Express finally came through today, so there are some bits of fabrics traveling west. Be ready if you live along any of the westward trails.

I am so glad you like them! Hope you can use the 4" squares for something...I know it takes a certain person to like the red fabric on the right of the photo, with the gold, blue and pink roses...I got yardage of that from a special friend in my life, she is almost 92, and my family has "adopted" her...she sews, but doesn't quilt...I have made quilts for her, and she and I share fabric...she has so much fabric, older fabrics, and she had this one, and at 1st I thought, hmm...I don't know about that one...but, I did accept it when she offered it...then it grew on me, and I have made 2 diff quilts using it, and the "retro-ness" of it worked great...so, I hope you like it, or can grow to like it! LOL...
Love all the fabrics being posted!

Its almost like you have esp...as I am making a quilt for my son and daughter-in-law to be, the colors are tans, browns, blacks and golds. I have a batik background, and it will have Faith, Hope, Love appliqued on it, with each letter being a different shade and pattern of black, tan, brown, gold...so, at least 3 of these are going to go in the quilt!! It is for their wedding coming up in July, so yes, I have to get busy!!! Luckily it is a pattern I have made prior, but of course this quilt will be ultra special as this is dh and I only child getting married...sure hope dil to be likes it when its done!
Thanks again!

I love them.

Since I have a "hard" time with browns (it is NOT my fave color).
I am hoping that this is help push me out of the comfy zone for
working with brown, goodness knows that I have tried MANY times
to make things with brown and falter before I can get even half
finished with it.

Thanks again Marcia

Great fabrics! I especially love the one with the "daisy flowers"...I have a fabric similar to it that has daisies on a black background, it is fabric that my Grandma made a dress for my mom back in the late 1940's-early 50's out of, and she made me a little romper dress with matching "panties" in the 1960's from it...I inherited the rest of it. I have used bits of it in several quilts, I love not only the pattern, but the memories behind it...and, it appears like it is new, so it wears wonderfully!! Sorry for the long post, just brought back some great memories for me...

Jaba,
You received some great fabric.
The fruit & veggie fabrics would be great to make a jar quilt.
That has been on my to-do list.

Where do you ladies find these fruit & veggie fabrics? I have yet to see any around here.
Is there a really good place online to get them?
