Lynnie That was a great pincushion and wonderful pins. That was so nice of your birthday gifts for Susan.

Susan Good news about your father and your tests today. Really nice gifts for your birthday. How did they know it was your birthday? I'm so far behind in everything lately. Still no mention of my swap receiving her pincushion and I haven't received mine either. I just went to get some storage bins and will attempt to fill them today. In all this mess my DS lost his water heater and they just put a new one in today. They are going to need this long weekend to recuperate. Me too. Last weekend I went by 3 estate sales but I didn't stop at any. I still am having a hard time going up and down the stairs, but it is getting better by the day. I can't believe it's already Memorial Day weekend. I hope that this hot summer goes by as fast. It is only 63 here today but heavy thunderstorms tonight. I'm sure you will be going to many more sales this summer. I just love them

    Everyone have a great day

I hate to see and hear about so much illness and weather damage.Best of luck to you all. I was wondering if any of you bought the 32 FQ's for $16 that someone posted about last week. I did and I am so happy with it. nice fabric and in very usable prints. Here is a picture of mine received. They were 50 cents a F.Q.

They are pretty close to the actual colors in this picture. Maybe a touch brighter.

    Mary, great buy!!!
The damage in the national parks is horrendous. Not to mention the tornados and fires. It's all just to scary.
The railroad ties look to be in terrible shape.
I didn't rec. a pincushion yet, but thank goodness my partner has.
I spent so much time on the computer last night looking for an idea for next month. Then I realized i made one in january, and it as just the right colors. I went to A.C.Moore and got some beads for some fancy pins. Sooo, now i'm off to start my chicken pincushion. I believe we can do any type of chicken, is that right???? So off to start that little guy, or girl, chickies are girls. Have a gret day everyone, will ck in with you all for pictures later.

Nhnative there was so much water damage, and to still see so much water standing is sad. It's something what they did to the railroad tracks. I hope you continue to get all your things back stored safely. I am glad you are noticing healing a bit better.

Lawsonmugs those fat quarters are very pretty, and such a variety. I had seen them posted, but hadn't bought any. That is a good buy. Enjoy!

I look forward to seeing pictures from those of you still waiting.

Lynnie you are going to have fun making more pretty pins with all those beads.

You sure got a great deal on those FQ's. I never think to buy stripes but I did for next month's pincushion. Love all the colors. I've never seen railroad tracks with no dirt under them. They have the Cuyahoga Valley Scenic Railroad that runs from Independence to Akron. Well it did. I wonder how long it's going to take to fix that. Oh I hope it's before Sept when they have the steam engine come for 3 weeks.

I wish I had an AC Moore. I used to have one in NH

I just noticed a thank you from my swap partner. It was under unapproved visitor message. I have no idea what that is. I'll post a pic of what I sent to stichinstuff.

No pincushion for me today...still sitting on that bench waiting. I've also been online looking at chicken pincushions. I found a picture of one that I fell in love with, no pattern, but I think I can create it from the picture. Trial and error. It will probably take me a couple tries before I get it to where I am satisfied. I did finish a white with purple polka dots triangle one made for a special little person. (Peg???) I still have to make my June and July ones before trying the chicken one.

Oh that pincushion and tissue holder is so pretty. I love those colors, and the ribbon too. Pretty florals, and more beautiful beaded pins.
