Well, my family on both sides tumbled off the boat and landed in NYC, where I was born. DH's family landed in Boston and never left Mass. So, yes, I guess you could call it connected to Mo by Switzers licorice, which I love, seen the Clydesdales at least on TV, I suspect DH has had a Busch product sometime in his life tho he prefers dark and/or craft beer....but I was thinking more personal contact.

Krystna, wonderful floral tributes, sounds like you have turned the corner, think maybe Melissa got on their cases???

Count me in the motherless, but happy Mother's Day to those of you who are.

Great packages all.

Off topic alert: just wanted to share a sweet thing DH has been taking our upstairs neighbor our NYTimes subscription while he has been in the hospital and now in rehab. Today he took the guy's sheltie over for a visit...he is just so sweet....

HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY

Lets see for MO connections, I have traveled THROUGH there on trips
3 times, coming to CO in 98, than again go to NC and returning to CO
in 99 with a UHaul truck.
My SIL and her family live there, and my youngest daughter goes to
school at Truman State University (and a plug for my smart child she
finished her Freshman year with a 4.0 GPA).

Now some info for my secret pals (all 3 of them), your boxes are on
the schedule to be picked up tomorrow by the mail carrier while I am
at work.
You should have them BY Thursday at the latest, but hopefully sooner.

All total I have 5 packages going out, but only 3 have anything to do with
the QB (other two are for swaps on another site).

For clues go back to read what I posted before LOL.....

Have a great week!

Good morning everyone. Just sipping cocoa before I dash around getting ready for work. Here's your laugh for the day courtesy of moi....I've been reading that some of you are senior members and I thought that meant that you'd been on these boards enough to be "seniors" and therefore the most "experienced" members. I just realized that you are "seniors" because you seem to be mentioning multiple generations of family i.e. grandchildren! Does that mean that "super" members have capes?
Have a great day. Can't wait to see if anyone gets a package today.

Good Morning! I have not been able to access the board much the past week or so and in catching up this morning I see that my pal has been actively seeking clues...well Dear Secret Pal, your package is scheduled to be delivered TODAY...to a southeastern destination with a zipcode that equals 24. You requested fabric ...I hope you love the panel and backing fabric I sent to you to make a wallhanging for yourself for the holidays, along with all of the other goodies. Enjoy!
