WOW, you sure fulfilled the black/white/Bright. It is a beautiful block and I would sure like to see the quilt that it goes in.
    Good job.

The idea is from http://quilterscache.com. She called it Double Z. Of course, being me, I changed the directions. I made the blocks slightly larger and cut down to the 3 1/2 inch size. I think most of the points matched. After pressing the seams to one side on the HSTs, I ended up pressing open seams for the other areas because of the big bulk. It just worked better for me that way.

would really love it if we could add the block name/source when posting pictures. i noticed that, like me, a lot of people want this info.

this is me jumping for joy. paintmejudy became my first swap pal and has already completed my first block. what an absolute honor. i can't wait for it to get here. however, i must act rashly until i get hers completed and mailed. hope for tomorrow.

    beautiful block suzanne.

I'm sorry to inform you pdcak, you sound like you are irreversably hooked to the exchange, I don't think there is a cure, I think it is more addictive than cigarettes.

quilting board disorder QBD - no cure, just enjoyment. no need for an intervention or telethon.
well, maybe a fabric telethon. could we get a celebrity to beg for fat quarters for us? perhaps we could show pictures of shop hops and stashes.

Just received a note from Mariah. She has received my November blocks. I will get pictures up later.

A note to her December partner-- Mariah's computer is down and out. It will be about a month before she gets a new one up and running. She does want to complete your block, so please snail mail her any info needed for your block.

Thanks - computers are great, but they do have limits and minds of their own.

    Hi there,
My square for you is complete. It should fit in nicely with these. I am getting some Mass. postcards and then it will be mailed.

Oh, Katie, they are beautiful! Thank you so much, I love them both. The fabrics are beautiful (and you used more of that wonderful lime I loved, hooray!) and so well made. Thanks again. You are a great swap partner.

Katie Ann and I did an extra Nov. swap.

    Aren't they absolutely BEE-YOU-TEA-FULL?

Here is a picture of dotcamdtcm teddy bear block that she so kindly made for me because I never heard from my November block partner Elly. I never thought of asking her if she was part of the swap. And being the angel that she is she said yes I will make you a block but I am not signed up for the block swap. She has since signed up to participate in the monthly block swap. What a wonderful friend Dotty is. And here is her block that she made just for me.
