Gotta tell ya what just happened about 30 mins ago!! Was setting here reading things, and had just let the Boxer out...I hear this loud, gruff bark, I knew she had something on the run. OH it was something alright! A bloomin' SKUNK in the yard, and she got it right in the face!! Thank goodness for tomato juice!!! Got her in the tub and away we went....she's all frufru'd up now, and got a treat.. Guess the rain brought him up from the creek!! So that's been my relaxing time...  ;)

It is so great to talk to you, If you call it talking....
I've been taking care of Cathy, and going to the chemo and Dr. appts. She had a rough week last week and didn't go to work at all. But, she's a champ and a winner in my book.
I've just started to put together my batik star blocks and my latern blocks to get them shipped out to be quilted.
I've started my new them of "grandma's fan blocks". My Nona had a quilt on her and my grandfathers bed that I remember of Fans and sunbonnet sues embroidered in the quarter circle part of the fans. I want to do one for that memory of my Nona Annette Ruth Battista.
I'll also watch our lovebug grandkids doing the week and fill up my time trying to catch up on all my swaps....and round robins....LOL
How about you?

hello to you Robert...you sound as busy as I am. besides my quilting I am caring for a newborn baby girl. At least for awhile. She is newly adopted and both parents work and she brings me such joy that I give up some of my quilt time to just set and hold her. Truly one of God's greatest blessings!

OK here is a fabulous block I just got! It is going to be a wall hanging all by itself I think.

It is from fromzstore. WOW! Thank you so much! Fantastic workmanship. I love it.
