Dotty -- give your cowgirl some rhinestones! That ought to girly it up! After quilting, you could add some to things like the halters, stars on foreheads, etc. The peach adds a nice touch too.

Jacquie, you did an awesome job on the angel. The squiggly appendages are great. It is a sweet theme. I was just thinking that the 3 vintage orphan blocks (plaids) I have would be great backgrounds for these primative angels. Sigh, yet another bright idea that's going to have to wait. Gotta clean up for company this weekend....
