Evidently I am not the only thing in my house that gained weight during the holidays! Sent my block for Dotty in nyc as i always do and got it back-- need more postage! Will post again as soon as I can get to the mailbox. Snow and ice all over the place again.

Paintmejudy's blocks came this afternoon...we're doing an extra swap. That girl is a maniac with the extra swaps!

Judy! I'm doing the happy dance! Your blocks were gorgelicius! I love the turquoise one--being one of my favorite in the blue color line. What is the name of the block?

The green one makes me want to have summer right now! and sit under a tree and read a book in the shade.

Thanks you, you lovely person you!

Abonda, I am having trouble keeping track of you. First you changed your avatar to a beautiful sunset, then someone else had an avatar with a sunset almost exactly the same as yours, now you are beautiful Hollyhocks(?). They are beautiful.

I'm glad I'm not the only one who loses people when they change their avatar!

    Abonda,

My 6 year old son says the same thing and wants a quilt made from this fabric. He cried when he found out I was sending the blocks away. He wants me to make him a candy cane quilt now. :)

Those are candy canes on that fabric - '09 there was a line with it in it that went with a gingerbread house panel and other cute prints. I did a wallhanging for my Mom with the line of fabric. Cute blocks!!!
