My package is in the mail. Will start on the next ones next year after the dust settles from Christmas. MERRY CHRISTMAS ALL.

It's raining here today. Much better than snow though.

Keep 'em coming!! Also remember I will swap out everything and get them in the mail AFTER Christmas.

I have been very creative in coming up with new ways to screw up my blocks. I think I will have to make an oops quilt. For some reason my brain and my hands are not communicating this month. Hmmmm maybe it's from the loss of blood when the cat ripped my face open (accidently). But, I will get two sets made and sent in before Christmas so it won't hold up the swap. Thank you Jane for being so understanding.

Well, I have screwed up, and I beg your forgiveness.

I went to the post office to get an envelope to send with my blocks, and when I returned to the post office yesterday to mail the package I was thinking of that envelope -- thinking it wasn't right.

I had the packet weighed and paid for the postage with only jclingenrey's name on it, no address, intending to finish the address and drop it in the slot. THEN I dropped it in the slot.

Today, my (dear) post office returned it to me so I could add the address. AARGH.

However, I'm happy they returned it to me! And I'm happy to say now it's REALLY in the mail. Only going one state away, so I'm hoping it will be there promptly.

Likethedog, we must have been thinking alike-- because I forgot to write the address on my envelope too! But luckily it was my return envelope, not the outside envelope addressed to Jane. :-)
Lauriejo- ooooh, I don't want to hear about that cat scratch, ouch! Try putting vitamin E oil on it to help it heal without leaving a scar.

The sign up is posted for the January Batik swap. If you're interested, please take a look and sign up. You already know how much fun it is, right??

This question has come up several times, '. . do we get one of our quilt blocks back?' At first the answer was 'no' but am really re-thinking this whole thing. Please let me know - would you like to get one of your quilt blocks back? Which would also mean, if you made more than one set, one of each set?

Let me know!

Merry Christmas to all my QB quilt buddies!

Either way is ok with me.
Seems like most of the time I've gotten one of mine back, but I usually go on and make a few more to round out the selection for the finished quilt so it wouldn't be essential.
