OK, i'm all done mine and I can't stand it .... LOL ... so I'll post the final picture, but I don't think I'm going to put it the swap ... thankfully, I have lots of time to do another one ...

I don't think I'm cut out to use all my scraps ... I usually donate them, and now I know why ... just too jumbled

So you think it is too jumbled. Great, that is a starting point for your next scrap quilt. It turned out to be a good learning experience for you so it can't be that bad and I still like it.

I find when I try and do scrappy, I need one or more constants. I think they call it "controlled scrappy", I find true scrappy way to chaotic for my taste.

Those look neat. I bet they are on the pricy side. I also think the busy pattern would be lost or to cluttered in a real house. The show picture they had was an ultra minimalist space not many (especially quilters) live w/ such a minimalistic space.

I've been working all day on clothes for my rooster, and have gotten almost nothing accomplished. I am trying to get him warm enough clothing for winter, so I've been deconstructing a few sweaters and trying to refashion them into something he can wear. My first one was a total bust, all 3 pieces the tunic, sleeve, and pants either won't work entirely or will need some serious reworking. I am on my second tunic I made it a little different to hopefully correct the first ones problems. Now I'm waiting for Gary (my husband) to come home to help me try the second tunic on him. Really hoping this one works since it is wool and will be very warm.

What! Cloths for a rooster? What's the whole story that goes with this information. DO you have a bald or injured rooster that needs cloths? I want to know!
