regm -- lovely mug rugs from Dotty! Could you possibly take a photo of the ornament for us? I couldn't figure out what it is! Love that magazine, too! Great swap

Oops! Hit the "post" button before I finished!

I just finished the mug rug & I'm working on extras now. Plan to send mid-week, with luck!

The wedding went perfectly and the weather was great. Here's a picture that I promised. My son Mike and wife Julie. Quilt shop hunting to buy some fabric before I go home.

Finished! The binding is not perfect, per usual. It is also a little large at about 10"x12". I hope that is okay? Another question for future reference. I used cotton batting this time because that is what it said to use on the instructions, but is it okay to use poly? I have a lot more poly scraps laying about.

Lovely photo of the happy couple, Jan! Nothing like getting married in flip flops at the beach. Congrats to you all.

Leesewzany, I don't think it matters what batting you use in a mug rug. 10" x 12" is a bit large, but I doubt anyone will complain! Can't wait to see it....

Wedding at the beach, what a nice thought. Bet it was much more relaxed than the usual.
