Where is this "list" that you check off when you receive your squishy? I have never been asked to do this and haven't done it for the last two swaps which were my first ones.

There isn't a list that you guys mark off on. The list to check to make sure your name is on the list FOR the swap and also the place where I mark off that you receive your package, is located at:

Bonnie you are a very generous Pal, I must say. I opened my goodie box and thought it must be Christmas. Did you machine embroider the towel? It is splendid! And the Pumpkin Spice candle, my mouth is watering it smells so good. The notepad is all the right colors. Can't wait to use the quilt labels and ALL the fabric overwhelms me. And the thread, oooohhh what can they be used on? And then the bobbins, the quilting needles, the adorable buttons and the patterns. AND the chocolates. Oh my my my. I am in heaven, my friend.

There is one thing better than this package however, and that was getting to meet you, your grandson and your granddaughter. Let me tell you folks, that little granddaughter is a comer in the quilting world. She does lovely work.

Looking forward to getting together again, Bonnie. Let me know when.
Judy

It would be sad to see all swaps stopped because we have some slackers on board! I would hate to see that happen that is just letting a few bad apples ruin the whole orchard!
My request is under consideration and hasn't been rejected or denied outright so it is still hopeful. There would be revisions to the swap though.
Oh who ever makes the decision regarding the swaps please know how much we love them. I have been fortunate enough to meet a quilter in my town and who goes to the same LQS as well as another woman who visits family in a nearby town. Making quilting friends has been wonderful and it would be so very sad if the opportunity to do so no longer was available.

I didn't receive a pkg for Oct either, but it hasn't dampened the fun of sending to a new Pal. I want to keep going. Don't want to worry about the not receiving occassionly and then miss meeting all the other possible new friends.
