Gladie and I opened our quilts together by phone this afternoon. We talked for over 2 hours :D :D . I really enjoyed doing it this way...your partner is more real that way. I absolutely love my quilt from her!! It's going to be the focal point for our family get together at the cottage Thanksgiving week. Mr. Tom will be overlooking all the activities. All those rich fall colors are just gorgeous...she did a super job on it..it was well worth the wait. She also included a travel tissue case (with the directions for future use) and 9 mini 9 patches which I am going to make into a candle mat. It will go nicely with the quilt. Thanks again, Gladie, for being such a super partner

Thank you for letting me know. I will get a picture up when it comes. I like surprises anytime. ;) ;) ;) ;)

Oh my goodness Glasdie, that takes my breath away. I love the back ground, and all the rich fall colors, then the added applique, I just love the turkey. You are so talented. Can't wait to see the quilt that Cjaye made for you.

Carol--thanks so much for posting a picture--I just checked here and whoa I need to take a picture of yours and post. We had such a great visit on the phone Friday. It really adds a personal touch to swapping! Wish I had done it my first two swaps with Darlene and that kwiltkrazy lady. Thanks for the kind words, Lucinda and Linda!

OBTW-I am reorganizing and cleaning my sewing room--getting ready for the Christmas sewing marathon. This reorg job is taking a while!

Thanks for posting yours, too! I also received a beaded scissors fob, a FQ of quilt labels, and a nifty small spiral notebook covered with fabric from the quilt. The "Shaping Up for Fall" quilt is inspiration to working in the sewing room. It was to the point I couldn't do anything in there. Anybody else's get that way? Thanks again, C. G
