Here is what somebody will be getting. Just finished the last stitch in this original design, will give it a wash and dry so it will be ready to go.

The new or unpracticed techniques include curved flying geese (PP'd), curved piecing and inset seams. I have always enjoyed curved seam work but never do a lot of it so this was a nice project to be creative with it. I had a bit of trouble with the set in seams because I measured my center block wrong. It's all a learning adventure.

Happy New Year and I can officially say this is my first finish of 2019. I'm doing great so far!

EDIT: I realized after I finished piecing the top that I didn't need to do inset seams, so there is another learned thing. Examine my construction design for easier ways to things. LOL

Hi Guys,

You should all have received the name of the person you should be sending to - if you haven't received a name and you are on the ready to mail list, please let me know asap. Please remember that this is a secret swap and that it is not a paired swap. You will be sending to and receiving from different people, so don't forget to pop a little note in with the package so your person knows who sent to them. Remember that you must mail your package by the 9th January 2019... this is a hard deadline, you can mail before but not after.

Also.......... please please please remember to let me know when you send and receive... this allows me to keep track of everything and to make sure that everybody receives a runner. You are a fantastic group of swappers and we have never had a "no show"... but I do need to be aware just in case that happens - to allow me to arrange an angel or send a runner myself... so please help me with just a quick PM.
