I am in the north Georgia mountains. Poplar trees have shed their leaves and the Dogwood trees are turning red. Temperature has turned cooler 70s during the day and 50s-40s at night. Love this time a year!

Please bear with me. I fell and fractured my knee yesterday. I have to go to orthopedic surgeon in a few hours. I will have my husband mail out my postcard tomorrow. Every 2 years, in October, I bust something in my left leg.
Angel Wings, Butterfly Kisses and Faere Dust for all!!!!

Favorite Halloween memory: When I was nine or ten we had an exceptionally cold Halloween that included snow. Given the weather and where we we lived, we didn't have any trick-or-treaters. My mom being who she is, hopped in the car and drove around town, hunting down any kid she she could find. She scared more than one child jumping out of the car and chasing them down to give them candy.

Boop56. So sorry about your tumble. I fell 2 years ago and luckily only tore my knee. Prayers for recovery and safe stepping!

Here is the postcard that I received from Wheezybreezy. You did a wonderful job on this postcard. At first I thought it was Ronald McDonald.

After reading "It" in highschoool, I just can't think of clowns the same. They are quiet scary!!!!! Great postcard.

suren3. So cute. The spider reminds me of the childrens book "Little Miss Spider". Such a happy spider!

Thanks. I made pillow cases for our grandkids a year ago or so using this fabric, so the happy spiders. I think it is supposed to glow in the dark, also. My plan was to make a spider and web for the postcard. When I started to go through my fabric I ran across this piece, I thought why re-invent the wheel. Thought of quilting on spider webs for accent but didn't want to interfere with "glow in the dark".

Thank you j50 for the amazing postcard. It would appear we both like the same candies.

OMG! Please do everything the doc tells you to do. Been there and done this one. Not fun. I hope it is a simpler fix than mine was. Prayers.

I have two picks to share both September and October. Sorry about the delay on September. Of course my brain could be a bit fried and I could have posted Sept. and just forgot. I have a great memory but it is short.

OMG! Just love this. This was my first postcard swap and I had no idea or even the thought of treating the back like a real post card.

    R-sea, I adore my postcard!

I used to have strawberry beds. One year I was sitting between the beds weeding.... pulling weeds and piling them in my lap. Then I would scoop up the weeds and carry them to compost. WELL!!! When I stood up, T W O snakes wiggled out of my arms! They were harmless but oh my!!!!

    Thank you!
