Oh wow, love the cat. love the wreaths, this is a good month for secret pals I am thinking. I got my pals favorite candy, I think it was easy because of halloween! One of her favorite colors is pink, so I am working on fining some cute pink fat quarters.

more clues more clues~ btw I still don't know if she wants this costume for her "Pet"?
Give a smile away today, someone you meet might need one!

Man I guess I am going to have a hard time this month! it is a 100 mile round trip to the nearest fabric place and taking care of my Dad has put a crimp in that kind of trip! I have goodies but not what I really wanted to get. Hope my pal likes it anyway!!

Oh No Lauriejo, I was so glad to see you back here. Well I guess that means you won't be the SP for any of us oh well that makes the guessing easier by one.
sorry -now when you find your brain get a bonnet and tie it on so you can get in on the fun next month.

This is so fun! Son came home from college for the weekend and that has happily put a wrench in my making a handmade item. Hopefully I can work on it when he takes a nap, just like when he was little. lol SP hasn't posted so not sure if she is reading, but here is a hint, she's a grandmother.

OK, I've never posted during the waiting period before. Actually didn't know y'all were doing this until a few weeks ago! Anyway, my sp for this month lives west of me (lol! I live in MA!) and we share a liking for a certain type of fabric.

I MUST be your SP partner since I am VERY west of you in CA. And since I like pretty much all fabrics, I'm a shoe-in. Plus, my DD's email is Hikinmama so we must also be related. Seriously, welcome to the SP Swap - good to see you posting. Some funny comments (and we share the sad ones, too) come across here. You'll enjoy following the banter and the clues. In fact my SP package is going across country this month, so you could possibly be my SP, as you are about as far away as it gets. Happy weekend.

If anyone is going to next weekend's Pacific International Quilt Fest at the Santa Clara Convention Center in California, I'd love to meet you and have a cup of coffee at the snack area. If there's enough maybe we could get a group together for a little bit. It takes ALL day to look at all the pretties and I wouldn't want to hold anyone up. Saturday 10/14, sometime - maybe lunch time - 1 PM?

I am trying to use up some of my many, many skeins of yarn. Currently, I am crocheting a very pretty hooded cowl - out of a honey, wheat color (neutral). Would any of you in cold country appreciate this in an SP package, or are quilted items more appropriate? I'm hoping my SP partner responds to this post...although it may have to be sent after the deadline. The rest of the package will be sent on time. Or, I could wait until November to see if I get another snowbird as an SP if I don't get it done timely.

Thanks for all the feedback on the cowl everyone. I guess it's a go to send to someone. Time will tell who the recipient is.

Just got back from the post office and I PM'd Lori (I am patting myself on the back if you didn't notice!). I mailed 2 pkgs to my secret pals...both are SE of me ... one is 1170 miles from my driveway to hers..the other is 468 miles door to door...The one that is closer has been my SP before so I hope she won't be bored with my efforts for her. I did try to follow her list. We will see in a few days...the other one doesn't post here..wonder if she knows how much fun we have giving and getting clues, etc. She may be like "hikingquilter" who just found out...welcome to you, hiking! Anastasia I laughed when I saw what you wrote about your natural hair color matching the lovely work of Sharon Anne. I have no idea what color my hair is anymore...I haven't seen my natural color in about 50 years!

Sharon Anne don't forget me, I live where it snows and blows. I hate it when it is cold and blows NW off from the water, soooo coooold. It is beautiful and anyone who gets it will have a very nice gift.

SP clues~You like to cook, you like blue and you drink coffee

My SP is northeast of me. Glad she wanted something handmade, it made me stretch and make something new. Now I just have to have one also. I love the crochet cowl, very nice color selection. We also get very cold here and it looks so comfy and cozy. Hope everyone is having a great weekend.

Well, it was my plan to mail out the SP box... But I ran this morning and I came home and promptly fell asleep on the living room sofa, the got up took a shower went upstairs and promptly fell asleep again!! I know better than to stay up to late on Friday night, my running takes me 4 + hours on the long runs and I never made it to the PO Box, so since Monday is a Holiday, I just found that out! I will be sending this package out on Tuesday!

And My SP has played with me before in a Boom Swap! So who is it? Oh yeah, she lives in a different State than me, but you all know I live in the State of confusion!

Sharon Anne that is a beautiful cowl! Love the color. Got busy today making something homemade for my sp. I hope she likes it. Her favorite color is purple.

Sharon Anne, I would love anything crocheted especially for the cold weather coming up here.

Brenda, they are not for you. Maybe next month. Remember plenty of people fit those clues.

For everyone else thats needs prayers or good thoughts, they are coming your way.
