My secret pal is making out good this month. Made a variety of homemade items. Made my first tablerunner. It has had many compliments so hoping you like it too. GOing int he mail tomorrow as I might make something else for you tonight. I have it cut out, now to get home at a decent hour.

Morning all! I was going to mail out my SP package out this morning and when we got to the post off this morning I looked in the back and my fiancee forgot the pkg!!!! IT WILL BE MAILED OUT TOMMORROW!

Sorry I haven't been around. Was in the hospital for a couple of days with swollen legs-warm to the touch-red and VERY painful! Ruled out a blood clot then thought might be celluliti so had IV antibotics for a couple ofdays then though it could be vitamin B12 defenciency so gave me a shot in the hospital for 2 days then made give myself a shot each day for 5 days. Legs still swollen not as red, still hurt but not as much. I am to keep my feet up and take my Lasix as usual. Am down to 119 pounds. Had apt with surgeon yesterday and they don't like the way things were left when I was discharged from hospital with no diagnosis and regular Dr unsure what was going on but she didn't add any meds or instructions, just see you in a month. So yesterday they did more blood work. Another bulletin and reason I have not been on the board is that I found out when I was in the hospital that Marty's cancer is back and she has to start radiation treatment again. She goes for consultation this morning so am getting ready to head out now.

I haven't heard from my secret pal yet, her package went out Tuesday by fedex to be delivered on Friday.

Lori - so sorry to hear you've been down again. Also that Marty has to undergo treatment for cancer again. You've had a bummer of a week.

I received a nice package from Jami McLaugh on Saturday, but wasn't sure of her screen name, so delayed until I could find out what it was. She made an owl pincushion with pockets for holding notions--really nifty. I received FQs, lots of patterns, tea, eyeglass necklace and my most wanted item -- small sharp scissors. Thank you so very much, Jami.

Nice packages, everyone! Lori, I am so sorry to hear about your situation and, of course, Marty's. How awful for both of you. Praying as I type. Lori, what a shame that you are such a Slenderella and your legs are a mess. I would have hoped you'd be out with your dancing shoes on, but I guess not.

Not sure what is up with my SP. She has been online. Nothing telling me she got her package though. It seems our board is going down hill slowly :/
