I have been away for a few days. Sorry to hear about Granddad, Sheri. The US postal "Gremlins" are at it again. My package got mangle/obliterated/destroyed beyond all recognition. I got remnants back yesterday. I have been cutting since 4am. A replacement will be in the mail today.

Oh goodness.... I'm sorry about your package. I'd cry if I were you. And re-cutting... Dang!! My daughter lost her swaps in the mail once too. Yosamitesa received her envelope empty! I learned to put my name and address on everything then. With my candy or stamps, I put each little baggie of swap set in a gallon ziplock Baggie and my name and address on that. I also use the padded legal envelopes I order from USPS.com for free. I've never had one of those bust. Thank you for your extra work!

My Father-in-Law passed yesterday. It's sure been a heavy emotional unexpected week... One more week of emotion to go. I'm exhausted but did happen to shop yesterday morning and replenish my two day supply of toiletries. And found you all a treat. I was greatful to brother-in-Law for the reprieve. I'm glad I wasn't gone long so I was able to be there for sweet Mother-in-Law. Her strength has been my goal and reason for staying a week ago. I hope I haven't upset anyone by posting. Thanks for your kind words. So it will be the first of August AT LEAST before I get home to all your candy shipments. Thank you for being wonderfully understanding.

Sorry for your loss Sheri. Hugs and prayers for you and the family.
Take time to grieve and rest as you can.
May you feel God's presence as you face the days ahead.

Sorry for your loss buddy. Take care of you and yours!

Our fun and games can wait until whenever you are ready to resume as far as I am concerned. I am happy to do whatever I can to help. Hugs

Prayers for you and your family. It is a stressful time. Candy can wait. There are more important things to attend to.

Sheri, prayers for your family in the time of loss. Don't worry about the candy, it will be there when you get home.

The replacement is in the mail! I really can't wait, but I will understand if our original response date is pushed back. Right now, it looks like I will be deploying to Afghanistan in January. So, I can wait until Christmas!
