Ornament Swap 2018
#261
I have brown bag cookie molds. I have collected them now for many years. It makes it fun to bake them up and decorate them for my holiday baskets of breads, jellies and cookies with hot coco packages and teas. My favorite is a pumpkin spice cookie frosted with a cream cheese frosting. Yummy! I do have a secret sugar cookie recipe a friend asked me not to share many years ago. They are a family favorite. I also like to make a couple different types of fudge and a seven layer candy treat. Most all of it is given away just after thanksgiving. No one could eat all of that and still have a reasonable figure. LOL! I just love doing it and the smells in the house.

Love all the cookie recipes. I bake a ton but give them all away. Hubby and I like them way to much to keep them. Last year my Mom passed Dec. 8 so not much baking was done but received many wonderful plates piled high with cookies and candies from neighbors. This year I hope to surprise them with plates of goodies

OMG! Cookies? I was trying to avoid such deliciousness. I have to go on a diet and loose at least 40 pounds for my daughter's wedding. Now I am just drooling. What shall I do, oh cookie there you are. LOL

these are like 20 stitches high and 17 across--took about 2 hours each--and since i am retired I could spend all day working on them so made about 3 a day. also i cut all the vinyl Aida cloth to size and did the borders on 3-4 of them so area to stitch was well defined to cut down time of counting stitches for each color change. makes the work go a little faster
