But I have been keeping myself very busy with the garden and canning although I lost all my tomatoes plants sono canning of tomatoes or salsa but have been making enough of other stuff green beans and carrots, strawberry, peach and raspberry jam and about ,4 different kinds of pickles. Tom I definitely have to get going on my mug rug for the swap that is due on the 22. There goes another "POP" guess the peach jam is sealed just hope its thick it is so humid today.

Actually saw the contest this time before it closed, sent my answers in. I will show pics of the quilts I have made to enter this year, thanks for asking to see them. Just finished the 3rd and final one, but not very good light tonight. Will take a pic in the morning and post the 3 that I am going to enter. Took a bunch of time on these to try and make sure they were as perfect as I can get so hope it turns out to be worth it.

"Pink Bin" Is my gigantic plastic bin of pink fabric that I have been gathering for the past years. I pulled my candies this year from fabric in my "Pink Bin". I also have a blue bin, a red bin, a green bin, a black bin and a bin of usable scraps of batting. One for each color of the colors of our world. Well that is just my way of storing my fabrics. Oh, then I have way to many shoe box size covered plastic storage boxes for small cuts, scraps of binding and on and on and on.

Who won the last contest? Hope more people played this time.

Today we had "Quiltathon"... something my charity quilting group does 4 times a year. Our leader asked me to teach a hexagon kalidoscope quilt block... six layers of stack and whack. That went well. Lots of pretty fabrics were used and we will see lots of pretty quilts made from it. Then we attacked some boxes of scrap fabrics that had been donated to the group. I brought my Accuquilt Go and made a tall stack of 5" squares out of a lot of those scraps. It was a fun day of playing with fabrics with likeminded quilting nutcases like myself!
