I'm fine with a second larger piece with the fat quarter. Janice, love the gallery! I have one more block made up for Traveling Gramma.
Yesterday I was stressing badly about the election, (we voted early) so I busied myself with setting up the pantograph kit onto my longarm. I look forward to trying my hand at that, especially on my scrappy quilts. Last night I stayed up watching the results as they came in, with Alida as my little company. What a night! |

Ernie’s home but he’s so keyed up I cannot get a decent pic! This will have to do for now. He’s a miniature of one of our other dogs, Connie. lol
Ernie looks like a lovely gentleman! So good of you to want to give him a loving home for his last years. Wishing you luck!
Terriamn, that tumble really did some harm. Hugs!!! Hopefully after the dentist trip, it will all be behind you. I got some sewing done this morning while watching the twins play and Alida was rocking herself in her bouncy seat. Everyday is a party for the twinsies! Their sibling dynamic is hilarious to watch! Anyway, here's my block for Ibex. Hopefully you like it.
Great block for Ibex, this will fit in with the halloween theme perfect. I Love it. Quote:

Thank you NZ for that perfect block. Racing day!!
NZ I am in awe of you. You are a natural mom- what a great gift. Your children will know love. They will also see you taking time to enjoy yourself. Glad you will be returning |
THAT would be for the 2nd piece of fabric. More than is usually sent. It would be better for piecing also. We would still get the main fabric 10x18 fabric.

Great racing stars, NZ! Glad Alida kept you company waiting for the election results. I went to bed around midnight, thinking it was going to be into the next day before we knew who won (or longer). Was happy to find out it was decided when I got up this morning. So glad it's over!
Janice, Ernie is so cute. And what an adorable size! I hope his personality suits you. |
I am loving all the blocks. Janice welcome home and thank you for the gallery! MJP, very nice hovering hawks and of course the BBT is great. Everyone is making such interesting blocks!! I better post a few of mine. I will not be doing the next boom. Life is still way to chaotic in my part of the world to carve out quilting time.
Went to an election party for the first time. I had no doubts as to the election result. I was surprised, however, to see all three -- house, senate, president's office, -- turn one party. No checks and balances for the next 4 years. I don't remember the last time that happened. Hugs to all. Continue to share your love no matter what! Quilting does soothe the raging within so the love can show! |
Good morning. Ernie had a perfect first night. Apparently, besides his other issues, he’s deaf. Roflol. What have we gotten ourselves into? He’s a love though and doesn’t hesitate to let his wishes be known. He’ll fit well with us as we’re so enthused to have someone else to dote on.
Ibex I believe during Joe Biden’s first two years in office, there was a unified government. Packages are rolling in and more are on the way. I’ll post a list later today. I’m off to PT. Have a good day all. |
Janice our beloved Rio was deaf the last 3 or 4 years of her life. The only time it was an issue was when she put her ears back and took off running like she was a young pup. It was a real chore trying to catch her. Hopefully Ernie is better behaved. I am so happy for you.
I am working on a fall table runner for my sister. Cut out enough pieces to make me one also but not sure I want to make two of them now. Rather boring. |
NZQ, love your checkered flag stars for TG. Inspired!
