I have been spoiled. No mail for 2 days... nothing, not even bills so I guess I should be happy with that! I just get all depressed when I go to the mailbox and get nothing squishie. :(

why is it our happiness depends on squishies? a year ago i didn't know what they were, and now i await them with bated breath! but none all week. que lastima, what am i to do? i guess i had best send mine out. then, at least you will be getting squishies and, in time, so will i!

beautiful blocks!! i sent out 14 f8's this evening. the rest should go out tomorrow. after seeing the gorgeous blocks posted here, i've got to say i'm excited and nervous! can't wait to get my grown-ups, but not sure i can match the skill level. will do my best!

I am the fortunate recipient of two wonderful blocks:
One from Quilting Nurse and one from Peggerss I love them both. Very nice. Someone asked if I only wanted white with my F8. Ok.. question for ya'll, cos you know everything. Where can I get a decent batik at a reasonable (like $8 or under) a yard. I got sticker shock today when I went into the LQS and she's charging over $18 a yard and IMHO it was *ugly*. The one I liked was $24 a yard!! and she REFUSED to cut less than a yard. I don't have any batik in my stash, and I know that I need some for the Boom, but I can't afford it at those prices.
So, can ya'll help me out with a website or something I can order a 1/4 yard, or a 1/2? |
I bought mine through Nancys Notions on line. Not that expensive. But I think I bought it on sale. :thumbup:

I like to get Fat Quarters, since it goes far in doing a block or other things. At the most 1/2 yard is plenty. Let me know what you find. Good Luck roseysue |
