got two more squishies today and two of my finished blocks. havent taken the time to take pics of returned blocks yet but will do so soon. I am loving this swap--and am reading a lot of my quilt books looking for the exact pattern for each f8 I receive. so many choices--but must find the one best suited for the fabric. I have now finished 13 of the bunch but that includes one side swap. Have set them aside for now as must get a Birthday gift finished and in mail..i got it cut out and partially sewn today.. Nothing like last minute preparations!

Evening everyone! I received a few more squishes today: Navarre2011, cuppy, country1 who also sent a block thank you very much! and last but not least Ms. gigglewings .. today I devoted to sewing on a must have quilt but Sunday is all about the blocks here. I am not fast like some but should be able to get out three if not four on Sunday so its another week come to an end and hopefully 7 blocks with it.
I will post tomorrow if the net is better but its a three day weekend in the park and so many are here now that the internet will be barely here til Monday when everyone leaves again. I have them on the computer but its taking a 100 yrs again to upload. my apologies cuppy :(

oh crud meant to write country1 time for sleep 1:30 and have to be up soon argh!

Such lovely blocks you are all receiving!! I have received envelopes in the last couple of days but have not opened all of them yet. I did open one from Jaba, Paperpieceme, Lestrong & LjDugas and they all had beautiful blocks in them! I love them all thank you so very much! I will post an F8 update this weekend.

I know we were talking about AH fabrics. I posted a thread about the AH quilt I will be doing which forced me to count my AH fabrics...I have 152 if my count is right LOLOL

The end of the plastic was ripped and some of the ink was on the block. I spot cleaned it some and the rest will end up in the 1/4" seam so all is good :). the plastic wrap saved the day!

April after it gets to you and the PO gets done with it, you may have to add a little "stuffing" to get the girls back where they belong :) I mailed it today. I will try again today. Does anyone have an ipad and do you know how to post photos from that onto here??? I will begin making grownup blocks today if all works out.

I have mailed out all F8 fabric. it is a white on beige. A note requesting only use whites, beige, cream, off white, tone on tones, white on cream..... Hopefully all will receive by next soon. Mailed out Tuesday 2/12/13.I know it should take a few days longer to arrive in Canada and Japan. Cuppy

Two more blocks going out Monday...IF its not a holiday? If so they will go out Tuesday. One to twinriversfarms and one to Dahna42. Wow 8 done this weekend..doubt if I get the other 10 done but will try to get them cut out if I can find a block that jumps out for the F8. I have to admit that daiseys and sunflowers are my least favorite flowers so Im having a little mental block on those two fabrics but it will come to me! :) Heard a rumor that Missouri might get 12" of snow on Thur of this week....can you say "snow day" ?? LOL

Oh dear. I am so confused. I got that one out of the envelop from Phannie. I took a picture of it. It was the only one I received yesterday so I am sure there was no mistake. I also have the others and I checked and not one is alike. although when I got that one...Phannie's....my first thought was....oh I have another one just like this. But when I checked they are all different. I have had 5 people return the Australian banana plant print and all 5 are different. So now you all have be so confused.

Country1, your plastic wrap saved the day! :) it was ripped on the end but I was able to get most of the ink out, the part I couldn't will end up in the seam allowance so it is all good. Thank you so much for protecting it in the plastic wrap. I just wanted to show everyone how important it is to wrap their material/blocks. Thank you so much for the block, I LOVE it ! :)
