Don't confuse me Brat, that is way to much thinking ahead of the game.

April, if a longarmer has a 12' table they have approximately 130" good quilting space. It would seem pretty strange to me if you made a quilt over that in both directions. But, there are those longarmers who have 14' tables so they can accomodate you with no worries. So have fun tumbling away there girl.

I wanted to say something ... I was cutting fabric today when it dawned on me unless you buy more than 2 yrds for 8 pieces your pieces will be slightly short. The selvage DOES not count as part of the inches in my book as I cut it off for everyone but this left me with 10.5 x 18 or 10.75 depending on the company who made it. This irked me. Oh yeah I got 44/45 inch fabric but its so much off each side and crud not enough. So I apologize right up front hope you can work with that it was that or leave it on and let you think you have more fabric than you do to work with. ARGH those are some wide selveges. Makower had one that was 3/4 inch off each side. WOW. getting almost as much as our parents did when fabric was 36" wide sheesh for the prices we pay too. ok vented.

Now I have brown/yellow fabric a bit modern, birds, roses, lime leaves OR I have Christmas novelty I cut up for you so selections selections!! I now have to figure which I want back faster which is ok slower thinking birds slower.. but if you ask real nice when we are assigned groups you can pick :)

OHHH! Please don't send me the birds. I have a hard time cutting through faces and I don't know what type of block I'd come up with when I have to cut around those little faces :-(.

Quiltermomma its not that easy to confuse you you cant fool me :) and way too ahead of the game? hello its less than 2 weeks away that is almost late in my books! I wanted them at least cut before I left town. Oh and the holiday stuff ArizonaKat.. um has angels about 4" across, deers with adorable faces.. um the cats are all adorable. I am afraid there will be some beheading along the way. or a lot of framed squares for those who cant cut them up. sigh.. its super cute fabric vintage style 50's Christmas card looking.. love it. Trust me it was hard for me to cut it up too.. so just know I did the first damage along the way to transformation :) and lots of blocks have focal point cuts in them so you will be safe!

Mary I have you down. I thought I had replied to your email. So sorry if I did not ;)
Beth thank you for that info. My current Longarmer told me 110" is her max but this one will be approx 128" x 150". Trying to get them all in the quilt front and back lol

This is my first boomerang. For those with more experience- will this fabric work or not enough colors to work with? Please share what you think.

Dad and me are going to sit this one out.

I'm doing a "barn" exchange using the Quilty Barn Along barns at our LQS plus I have sooooo many tops that i need to finalize and get quilted.

Maybe this fall we'll join up again. Have fun y'all.
