I am still waiting for my book to arrive. I ordered it late, are we going to start early with the others that have started already? Oh yes, you will have to start early, after April you might be to busy rocking to do any sewing........

I know the feeling. I am so excited about doing this, I went to the book shelf and found my favorite book on Applique, (Applique the basics and beyond by Janet Pittman)
I think I will do some practice squares to practice my hand applique stitches to be sure they are small and invisible. It has been a long time since I did hand applique for a large project.

ladies, i posted our up to date pics of our WIP's on bookworms new picture thread, if that is ok. i hope you don't mind...
i have to say, they look wonderful all sat together... and there is such a wealth of talent on this forum!! the rows being shown are just wonderful!! i would love to see them up close!! they're all beautiful!! |

Speaking of pressure and deadlines, I just checked the USPS tracking and found out that the package I sent to Boopers is there. that means Jacquie and RNUNU she will be working on yours.
