Linda as we neared the end of 2008, we had a topic going about what sort of projects the members would like to be involved in and see on the board in 2009. That lead to the birth of our 2009 Holiday/Winter Row Robin. :)
The sign up deadline for this one was Dec. 24th. So that everyone would have their group information for post Christmas Clearance Fabric Shopping. That was just before you joined us, perhaps next time. :D |
Margie...you can send you ideas to me I have the sugar plums row in my hands right now and am having trouble....I thought about gingerbread men, but I haven't found a pattern yet.

Margie's row was at the post office today. OMG! Wait 'till you see it in person. It is fabulous :!: I don't know how I will come up with something worthy to add. :?

Today must have be a good good day for sewing Lori, I have some eye candy from purplemem's row as well. :D The theme for this one is Traditional Elegant Christmas and it's part of the large quilt group.

When do we mail out the two rows, i know we don't want any one to have two or three blocks at a time :D

Ruth the mailing deadline for Feb. is the 28th, so as long as you hold back on mailing yours until the end of this week or next week sometime all should be fine. :D
Your row looks just great. Did you use interfacing to make your applique? I'm just starting to plan a butterfly applique quilt for dd's birthday. |

I used steam a seam extra lite...after i figured out how to use it it came out fine. it fuses and does not get a hard stiff feel. I had no need to put any thing under the applique. :D I do have to put some hooks on one block will use black and some kind of stitch :roll:

Oh...I'm still loving to see these! The row additions look soo good and....a sneak peek...thats just not nice :wink:

We always mail to the same person in our group and receive from the same person. Hope that helps.

Glad to hear you liked your row purplemem, it was very firm with me, I should do everything it said - with no protesting.
I'm sorry ladies if you've been having trouble with the addresses. Yes, we will always be mailing to the same person, and the different rows will come to us. Margie I'll resend the address to you. And if anyone else lost their's I'll be happy to take care of that too, just drop me a note. Has anyone seen barbsbus around lately? I sent her a PM yesterday but haven't heard back yet... Jan your row is just amazing. All those beautiful colors. Simply divine! |
