beautiful runner m-fay!

And to add to the wonderfulness of the runner, all the handiwork was done by M-Fay, including the crocheted ladies. That is a lot of work. I first through she had found a vintage linen and embellished it. But nope -- all done by her. So a double thanks to you, M-Fay.

oh my! oh my! I have just received a gorgeous runner from Caroline! And a bunch of goodies too! I took this picture before I broke open the bag of Easter eggs! Told husband he can't have any 'cause he's diabetic - have to hide them just in case! This patterns is on my "to do" list to try - is it cathedral windows or a version of? I haven't been brave enough to tackle it yet! Thanks so much! Beautiful colours that my ipad doesn't capture well!

Oh My! is right. That is gorgeous and in my favorite colors too! What a lucky lady you are!!

Gorgeous runner sue I haven't done a cathedral one yet either. I'm trying one called spinning wheel in a magazine for the next runner, but I may do more....ideas keep popping in my head......and I'm just so glad you liked the runner belfry bat . It was lovely doing the fancy work on the linen but I was worried the rest might be too plain

Another beautiful runner. Perfect fabrics. I like the use of the CWs as the focal point without being the entire piece. A great idea for using them.

Beautiful runner, Caroline. I too love the fact that you scattered the cathedral windows instead of putting one in each block. Really classy.
|
Can someone tell us the name of the pattern? That's so pretty.
|
The center curved blocks are called Cathedral Windows so google that and you will see some gorgeous quilts. Caroline did an original layout of her blocks which really stands out on this pretty runner.

Thanks Ube, I knew it was cathedral windows. I thought maybe it was a layout that was a certain pattern. It's just so pretty.
