I am going to get off my duff and go work on my mug rug. soon as my tea is finished lol. its a bit cold outside right now and my feet are freezing! hot tea is the answer I am sure. not sure how that works does the tea go to your feet to warm them up? hum... my stomach is warm. tea is a what do you think your doing thing lol I am on dialysis and have a limited consumption rule. sigh.. but its sooo good. don't tell anyone its our secret. (til tomorrow when I weight in and well there the darned tea is. and NO ONE weights themselves three times a week do they? torture with assistance ahhhhh)

My desktop computer took a dump. I am trying to catch up on my little netbook which I hate. I have so much info on my big computer. I'm hoping it can be fixed. If not, I'll have to buy a new tower and have them transfer all my info to the new one. I really can't afford to do it but it is necessary. What the heck did we do before computers??? I have my mini finished but working on something else to go with it. Linda if you already started one, please just finish that one. I know I will love whatever you send. <3

Sorry to hear of your computer woes klaws. I just dread comp. problems. I have put off upgrading my IOS because I fear it's gonna mess up my book keeping software...but, I've double backed up and am taking the plunge today as I type. (fingers crossed)

Hope to have my mini ready to mail out on Monday. I have to get busy on my trinket thats going along with it ;)

boy that hot pink is gorgeous on one sneak peak and then there is kiffies sneak peak with the fancy stitching and wonderful paring of hearts... man I had best get on it! I pulled all the fabrics that I think will work. sure hope you enjoy the colorful set of fabrics Klaws! I am designing it today in clinic gives me something to do and well.. it gets the little wall hanging in my mind better. should be a one day thing I hope! cut it sew it.. then another day to bind it and I am golden! in theory lol

I sometimes think I over think (naaah, not ME!!) things, as in I decided what to make..changed my mind..only twice (insert eye roll at self)..made the mini...now debating some embellishments..Stop, Kif, just stooooppp!!
I can't wait to see everyone's minis, as well. I love this swap because it helps me feel I've actually accomplished something by finishing it! ;)

Ok, so I'm sad I missed this! I made my first ever Mini quit on New Years Day! And I made a goal to fill the wall ony sewing room/office with mini quilts this year. My next one is going to be a Valentine's mini! I'm keeping my eye here now! I'm excited to see all your fun little treasures.

well still working on my theory people. first gotta run to walgreens forgot tomorrow is Red Hatters lunch and better get something to decorate the table with. I have two white thingys that are used to tie balloons so they don't fall away? they have sparkly things coming out of them and stars on the top? those are going on the tables. the theme is snowflakes sigh. wish I had gone out at Dec and picked them up. now they are all gone! have candy in bowls to gift to 'winners' of this months lunch thing. now what the heck to put on those tables. praying they have something in the valentines that I can use also for snowflake things. pray with me. not many places to shop in Cody. Walmart (ugh) and Walgreens. oh and one dollar store. already got that part done. now for walmart. crossing fingers and toes to find something!!! ahhhh!

I'm all finished! I made it a late evening and got my mini all ready to go. Maybe not the most ornate I've ever done, but ingenious, if I do say so myself! So now on to finishing a flannel baby quilt I am doing for my daughters friends. I'll try to post a pic. The parents to be are avid outdoors types and are having a girl. brat, my bff had a baby shower for her DDIL in Dec. She got large vases at the thrift store. We put in tiny battery operated lights, covered them with a mixture of salt and Epson salts. Then put in pinecones and paper snowflakes. With the lights glowing through the salt they were very pretty center pieces.

I haven't mailed yours yet, it's finished, sorta. Meaning it's finished, but I just keep debating a lil extra bling. Are you a "bling gal"?
I love doing applique, and also hand embroidery and embellishments, like on my Mom's crazy quilt that I finally finished. Finally....
This month I threw caution to the wind and your mini is mostly paper pieced. But this "old dog" just keeps wanting to do a lil hand work embellishing on your mini. I apologize for my indecisiveness...

what a lovely red and pink and white quilt! and the extra gifts are so very much adorable. candy for me?? nope. its ok I need candy like I need a hole in the head. heck I have a hole already sigh. I Know it that is where all the things I need to remember keep falling out.

I got my top done! I want to applique a tiny bit on it but its done. not fancy but pretty colors make up for it. I hope to finish it today but it might be Wed now before its in the mail. lunch with the RED hatters today. ok we call our group the Scarlett hatters group. I am a bit younger than most but they let me in due to my gimpy parts. I am also the President yikes. so speaking in front of people I don't really know is hard for me. wish me luck. rather be home sewing I was looking forward to a day at home with time to sew. sigh. this afternoon might be what I have and I am already fading by them. well as much as I can do I will do to get things done! and be full from a nice lunch at the Historic Irma Hotel. A true piece of the past.

Love the mini you made Letsquilt and all of the sneak peeks that are being posted! Ok, I did it again...my mini isn't really a mini anymore, it's 18" square! I guess I am back to the drawing board or my partner will be receiving something a little larger than she may have planned on, sigh. I think I need chocolate...or a cocktail?
