Woohoo! The excitement continues; Dabbler312's package is out for delivery . Hope she is pleased with her mini package I put together for her. We both got bogged down a bit - her with family issues and me with the tremendous amount of snow we have received in the last ten days. And more last night and this morning. Eee gads.

Drooling because I just popped over to the January MR swap and saw Dabbler312's MR she made for her swappie, Difergie. It increases the anticipation for my mini from her. Come on postman, come on.

I'm a lucky girl - I received the best valentine and extras from Whigrose; the coasters are awesome and made with my favorite color; and the little zipper pouch will be used as a mini clutch tomorrow - the older I get the less I like carrying around a large purse. My favorite is the Valentine mini - thank you for such a beautiful mini. I'm truly feeling blessed.

Thanks so much for the kind comments regarding the mini, coasters and wristlet for Dabbler312. As you know, being my first mini swap, I was a bit nervous.

I just started making the wristlets. They are a blast and once you do one and understand the process, they whip up fairly quick.

I'd like to share with you the terrific package I received today from Dabbler312. In the beautiful note card she wrote she loves the classic red and white combination and February is 'Go Red' month. Before retiring a couple of years ago, I worked in the heart health arena, including local promotion of 'Go Red'. Your words and sentiment are very appropriate, Dabbler312. Who knew?

She did amazing paper piece work. And the white fabric with the hearts is just too cute. She also included several hot drink mixes, a mini box of chocolates and a kit to make a Ten Minute table runner. I would have posted pics sooner but I wanted to launder the fabrics to make up the runner. I love the focal fabric, it has a wonderful tropical feel, which is awesome because snow is over four feet deep every where around me. I have great plans to add embellishments.

Thank you Dabbler312. Hope you come back to us as soon as things slow down a bit for you. We've all been there one time or another.

Here is a late picture of my January Valentine Mini Quilt from LaQuita. It's very pretty, and the package includes a pretty and useful note pad, pretty card with a nice note, a very nice Quilting Journal that I have never had. I will be using the very nice Quilting Journal beginning tonight as I work on something for my dad who is in a nursing home to give to him tomorrow. Thank you so much LaQuita for a beautiful mini quilt and package.:)
