Love those swirly heart

Haven't been on the board for a few days and have had so much fun looking at all the goodies everyone has made! Everything has been so adorable and cute and perfectly made! I'm amazed at all the talented people on this swap and such kind ladies on this swap! Pray for me for my procedure tomorrow so I can start walking again. I have my mini ready except for a label and will work on that tomorrow and Friday. And hopefully get it in the mail by Sat. or Mon.

Teresa, will next months theme be green? I didn't see a definite yes or no. I would like to get some ideas ahead of time.

Yes Karen next months theme will be St. Patricks day/Luck/Rainbows/gold/PIGS? And remember folks the theme is a suggestion...just a jumping off point. So you can interpret the theme any way your heart desires. Just make sure your partner would want to own it ;) in the end.

QUESTION! How many of you would be interested in an Easter table runner swap? I was thinking of hosting and have signups by Feb 14 and mailing date of March 14 so that it would be received before Easter on April 5. If I have enough ladies interested then I will go ahead and post it at the end of the month after I get the ok from Patrice.

With all of the snow forecast yesterday, my son came by on his way home from work so I could send my partner's mini pkg with him. He mailed it from his office this morning.

I received an exquisite mini from Teresa (tlambling) this afternoon. Her work is impeccable. I only hope to achieve her level of quilting and sewing! The gift included the mini, a small bell on a red ribbon, a small heart in the pocket of the mini and small heart stickers to mark my quilting book pages! And Hersery Kisses, my favorite!!

Quiltjoey, that is a lovely Valentine Mini from Teresa. Yes there is more than a few on here that I hope to do as well someday. (I can hope can't I?) lol... Sweet goodies too. :)

I will hear from my sweet partner when she returns so I can get her address and get hers out to her. It is sitting on my dining room table awaiting it's forever home. :)

Mine is finished FINALLY so sorry Klaws. I had to split binding sewing into two days. it did a number on my hands but I finished! tada! sending off in the mail on Monday because no car today and clinic tomorrow :( but promise it is going out priority to your home! that is exciting to be sure for me. lol.

piggys I love lucky piggys. will be sad to miss that but not sure when my leg will heal enough for me to sew. ok and my arm. that has to heal too so will need one month according to the docs to heal. crud! maybe next month I can get a lucky pig easter mini???

ok last but not least: great job on the envelope Teresa! you are such a good quilter. Your work is impeccable as always. My swap for fqs this coming month is : greens/creams and whites for the shamrock lovers in here and also the ugly fabric swap 1 yrd of combo sizes to make a total of 1 yrd of ugly fabric. I know we all have some. Its not necessarily ugly to the recipient. Sometimes we go out and buy a fabric only a few years later to say.. what was I thinking? well someone else might just adore that wwf fabric in your stash lol or perhaps birds. you may hate birds but someone else will say omg its birds! I love birds! so jump on over and sign up for that bunch of fun.

ok ladies. I need a mentor, or someone to tell me honestly if I'm on the right track with my mini project. I am experiencing a lot of trepidation over this one, sigh.

There is time for me to 'switch horses' as they say, if needed. I just need an honest opinion. Any volunteers?

Theresa that little envelope is just adorable. If you made it so there was a little pocket it would be the perfect tooth fairy pillow. Saint Paddy's day pigs is it, well all right.

I have changed my mind so many times before that I'm not sure it still is MY mind ;)..lol
Not only that, I can honestly tell you my dh has teased me before telling me he thinks I like taking out my work more than I like making things... What's bad is that's not true, but it does look that way on occasion. I'm always my own worst critic...

It is an envelope with a flap Tesspug :) I tucked that tiny heart and mini post it's inside as my Valentine gift. I wish I would have thought to add a lace trim into the flap seam :( next time! And yes...it would be a very cute tooth fairy pillow, great idea!

Teresa where do you get all your ideas? inquiring minds want to know. lol...

Quiltwoman and I were on the same wave lenght - Bluebirds. I love my birds. I will attempt to post picture. Here goes: Oh yeah, there were three (3) piecies of candy but I was a bit hungry lol

February Mini Quilt Swap

I just recieved my mini and goodies from Cuppy, she did a great job and I love it. Thank you Cuppy.

I just got a great surprise from LetsQuilt. I'm not sure what I was expecting, but she sent me such a pretty mini and bonus extra gifts! I'm so happy! Thank you!!! I'm very excited about the little bag with my name on it!!! :D
