Three of my kids, the teenagers, are off to Civil Air Patrol camp for a week. I love peace and quiet, but this house is entirely too quiet. Plus, I keep making way too much food! The three younger kids and I will be busy holding down the fort, but boy do I miss them. I'll be checking in on the thread and anxiously await getting my partner's name! We are partners! Jaba! Apple pie is my favorite!
A lucky day for me!!! Received this box in the mail today and wondered if it was one of the items I ordered online. The surprise is a delightful June p&nc swap from jaba using yummy apple pie print fabric.. Jaba you are FAST!!! Pictures follow. A lovely card Pin Cushion filled with walnut shells; a Thread Catcher and a needle case that includes beautiful beaded pins, and a couple of sewing machine needles and clips and…and caramel hard candy. A loving thank you to you jaba, I am displaying these special handmade items in my sewing room. :) |

Jaba another beauty you made. For those of you that don't have one of hers she also puts a rubber grip on the bottom where they don't slide even though they are weighty to stay on the table. I love love mine.

For those of you that wanted to know about the fabric, the apple pie comes from Hi Fashion Fabrics, Inc. On the salvage it says Patt# DEB1-C 3168. Here's a larger pic of it[ATTACH=CONFIG]521690[/ATTACH]

I received a pkg today with a very pretty floral pc, nc, a cute little strawberry needle sharpener, some m and ms, and floral seeds in it and a nice note but the note wasn"t signed. The address was from someone in LIBERTY< TEXAS if that's you THANK YOU VERY MUCH. Posted a note on MAY pc and nc also. I suspect it was my swapper fro last month as they apologized for it being late..... NO problem though... it was a very nice surprise to come home to today....THANK YOU =^.^= My cat decided the ribbon was for her!!!!

THANKS ladies I sent SUZIE a thank you.... I can't post pictures as I don't have a digital camera... it died... Floral fabric with soft pinks, greens and blues. the pc is hexagon shaped and the nc has green inside and cream colored fabrics with a couple of pockets for needles and things. My collection is growing and I do use the pc and nc. If they are seasonal I switch out per season or holiday... fun...

Please don't stop posting pictures. That's what makes this group special. I would love to see pictures of animals, flowers, etc. As long as we don't go overboard, we will be okay.
