Yippeee I got my package today and it was the same person I got to send goodies to!
The kitties both thought it was for them and they both tried to steal the shot glass and the little one thought the flowers on the card were edible.

I received my SP package from Stacey aka SLHughes as you can see by the picture it was packed full with all kinds of goodies!

The maple leaf fabric has already been designated for a table topper. I've always wanted the pattern "Hot Cakes" which included the fabric to complete. Clover Wonder Clips another really appreciated gift! Note pads, note cards, pen set to write on those! A Canada key ring nail clipper boy will that be handy to have on the key ring!

All-in-all an extremely thoughtful June SP from someone so nice! Thank-you so much!

Two, count 'em two SP are winging their way EAST of Idaho. Both to the same state, one in the northern part of the state....she yes, she traded with me a Twister sista' tool for some of my Fossil Fern fabrics :0)....she lives very close to the town DH and I were raised. She likes peanut butter.

Hmm...let's see the second box is headed to the same state but more mid state....she celebrates all holidays (she's a party girl :0) she has an embroidery machine, she wouldn't throw the
BLACK LICORICE out. Her zip code adds up to 13.

Trying to catch up but still have several pages to go, but I'm tired, and going to bed. Spent the day at the NQA quilt show-it was wonderful. Sent my package out this morning before going to quilt show, as I didn't get it to the po yesterday. It will get there either tomorrow of Monday I expect as it isn't going very far.
Thanks for answering my ? about sick state, Ill makes sense, and yes I guess Louisiana probably is the vowel state.
Matter of fact it is being delivered in my state. I was going to say it wouldn't leave the state but with the way postal stuff goes who knows it could visit 3 other states first.

Lori Peercy 06-15-2012 08:17 PM

I have to sound like the mean one (again) but there were 2 people who got their package today and didn't send a pm to me......was it you? Or you? hmmmmm better get it sent in so you can be in the swap next month!!!!

Oh yes, I was reading the packaging on the biscuits and it mentioned that for many years it was served on the airplanes and was asked for extras by passengers. So they became a retail item because they are so well liked.

My second SP package arrived this morning from Maggy and it was wonderful. How did I get sooooo lucky to get two wonderful packages this month? Maggy sent me some wonderful Christmas fabrics, a Charm Pack and more pretty squares. Also a wonderful bundle of Thimbleberries fabrics, some pins, a pin cushion, wonderful flavored teas and some magazines. I'll be able to get started on some of my Christmas projects now.

I can't begin to thank both Susan and Maggy enough for the most wonderful packages this month. You gals are both the 'Absolute Bomb" Thanks sooooooooooo much.

sweetwaterquilter 06-16-2012 08:57 AM

Sega, I just looked back and saw the bag you made. Yours is really cute, great fabric. I have made an absolute ton of those. All my daughters and grand daughters just love them. They love all the pockets on the outside, cell phones, keys and junk. I make a lot of them to sell using college fabrics as well as John Deere and other quirky things. I love them because they take no time at all and I can cut out a bunch of them at once and just assembly line them out. The fabric you used is great.

leiladylei54 06-16-2012 10:21 AM

Such a cute bag, Segasal....what pattern is it???

LindaR will post a photo of my wonderful pkg and soon as I feel better. I am so sick. Went to Dr. and found out I have acute bronchitis. Now my hubby is getting the same thing.

CherylW 06-16-2012 12:03 PM

Good Afternoon everyone!

Just received a great package from Onalee. Caramels & Peanut Butter M&Ms - do I really need to go further??? Some beautiful batik fabrics, Idaho Huckleberry Jam, a cookbook, and a handmade trivet. Everything was wonderful. I have already started eating the caramels and the M&Ms are in the frig.

Thanks again Onalee for a great package!

The clean up of my studio continues ... and I've come to this box. I thought I could use them as loops for fancy aprons, but nope. Are they tiny purse handles? They are Czech crystal ... What do you think?

brenda21 06-16-2012 01:33 PM

Ok, do you not remember what the are and why you bought them or are we playing a guessing game:shock:

Krystyna 06-16-2012 01:34 PM

I bought them because they were shiny.

brenda21 06-16-2012 01:34 PM

hahahah, ok then...did the person you got them from tell you what they are supposed to be?

brenda21 06-16-2012 01:44 PM

smart a$$.....perhaps you could figure out a way to make a picture frame....how about bracelets....or something like crystal ball woman there has on her turban....oh and look she has the bracelets too....there ya go...

Krystyna 06-16-2012 01:50 PM

Bracelet good if I had no flesh and got rid of some bones, too. Some have a flat side, some are rectangle. Look again.

brenda21 06-16-2012 02:03 PM

maybe they are to decorate wedding cakes somehow....

brenda21 06-16-2012 02:05 PM

napkin rings.....this is gonna annoy me until we figure out the true purpose, not a "repurpose"......
