Well, if your partner doesn't post on lots of different threads, you might be able to find the "what I like" post by looking at the history on their profile. I don't know about anyone else, but I love the surprise part! :)

Just a thought; I personally have posted my preferences in my 'profile' area, so regardless of the swap, the info can be found there. If everyone does it, the info can be easily found without giving anything away. (and it's not like personal color/theme preferences are 'personal info')
