As for us spending $20....does it have to be a "gift" or can it be $20 worth of fabric?

that works great for a lot of people :)

Okay, I was just reading another topic here on the QB....another hint for my secret pal....I would like a bias tape maker. Lol

I have a whole set of various sizes, used it maybe once. Just another gadget to put in a drawer, at least for me. Same with those tube turners.

I use the tube turner and bias tape makers.... I may only use them once in a blue moon but I love having the chore made easier when I need them :D

Tuesday at my sewing group I was Ironing some strips that was folded 3 times for a tie on a bowtuck purse and I burned both my index and middle fingers tring to iron them. Needless to say, I didnt finish them.

I've done much better at staying within my budget this year. I got my fat quarters and I still have a good deal of money left. I was able to pulled a bit from my stash to share with you from your idea list. I am still pondering your must have item. It may put me over budget. I have just a bit longer to think on it. Will make a decision soon. My must sew list is done. So can't wait to get to secret Santa sewing! The fun begins now.:-)

I think we discussed this before... didn't we? The 4 FQs are not included in the $20, are they? We get to spend $20 in addition to the FQs, right? (If not then, oh boy, am I in trouble!)

I use my bias tape makers all the time. I also have a tube turner that made the job easier as well. That old song "To Each His Own" is running through my head. As if that doesn't date me LOL!

I could use a tube turner, too. There's nothing worse for my vocabulary than trying to turn a skinny tube of fabric (except maybe trying to start the lawn mower).

The neat part about the tube turner is that they ar only about $10 and if you catch them on sale with a stackable coupon... you score big time :D
