Gday All, sorry i haven't been here in a while, still have to do some reading to catch up, this is just a short note to let my secret Pal (Meg Nelson) know that i received her package this morning. I am still at work so will have to wait till tonight to take pics.

My parcel went through Australian Customs, i know this to be so as they have taped it up with quarantine tape and left a leaflet within the package.

I did receive a u beaut seam ripper, one that i haven't seen before. flat pins that i can iron over, they are great to use. A scented sachet, was so powerful it came through the packaging, love it. and last but not least, 3 Beautiful green/red fabrics. They are very bright and colourful. Thank you so much for my parcel, i can't wait to get home and add it to the QB quilt project that i am planning on for next year. I truly love the colours. :0)

okay i am sitting (misnomer) here sewing christmas gifts (lots of potholders and gifts to finish), planning dec sp swap packages, finishing up my happy new year swap box, packaging up blocks for my boom block swap, washing dishes in between all of this and get this, i am listening to a nova special on the computer about alternate universes, quantum physics and dark energy. i can only hope that some of this nova special is seeping into my unconscious brain thoughts somehow or i have completely wasted an entire 53 minutes of unused time. right! :p

I have been hypnotized before. Once was for a show and the 2nd time was to stop smoking. I stopped smoking for almost 8 years. I will say this, you can not be made to do anything that you don't want to do, such as clucking like a chicken. That being said, if you are not 100% committed to whatever the reason that you are being hypnotized for it will not work. When I did it to stop smoking I went with 2 other people, one person went because his wife had stopped smoking this way and he was doing it for her. He was very skeptical though out the who process. He asked for his money back at the end. The 2nd person that I went with wanted to stop smoking and did for about 2 weeks, but used a fight with her husband as an excuse to start again. I very much wanted to stop and it made it much easier to do so. Sure there were times when I did miss it, but I didn't miss everything that came with it. The down side is that I put on a lot of weight on when I stopped. I did start smoking again at a very stressful time in my life after my son was paralyzed and my marriage was falling apart. The big thing is that you have to want it to work and you have to want if for yourself and not someone else.

I'm still on the bench. Did not get a pkg today. Perhaps tomorrow.
