Cookie, I've colored postcards for my grandson before and heat set with my iron. But, I was kind of hoping to heat the crayon like you would a candle and let it drip on the pumpkin. It's a thought anyway.

This was the card I sent to cuppy... it's two sided. The inspiration came from an image where a pawn (chess piece) is facing a mirror and the reflection is a queen (similar to the kitten facing a mirror and the reflection is a lion). I tried to do it with a mirror, but it just wasn't coming out right, so I went with "thought bubbles".

Miriam, your "new" machine is beautiful! I am test driving a Featherweight now. A dear friend wants to sell hers and she thought of me! I found a box of foot attachments at a rummage sale to try out too. Can you say excited?!!

My "new" machine, the Singer 115, has the same type hook/bobbin area as the FW only bigger but the machine is about double in weight, twice the size, takes the same feet, faster, & much less expensive but it is much prettier than my FW. Congratulations on your find.
