Claudia, if you mailed the blocks to NorBana, she hasn't sent them to me yet. She is waiting for any stragglers that may have sent them to her instead of me. When I get them, I will log them in.

This is number 5 of 12 blocks. It is called "Shooting Star 2", this is my first swap, and every block that I have viewed for this exchange is great.

Deb,
I would like to sign up and just sent you a pm as I had a question. I am questioning my ability, as I know there are a lot of great quilters on here, and I just am not sure my skill level is good enough. Thanks |

You should see my block - It's a simple pinwheel and I had such a hard time with it for some reason... I posted it because I thought it was boring but others really liked it!!

Just wait until you see what you can do and all that you learn. This is a wonderful, safe place to learn, so take the leap. You will be glad you did, and welcome. :-)

Thanks for all the encouragement. I'm going to be like "Thomas"... I think I can ... I think I can .
I love this board. Quilters are the best people in the world! |

Thanx for stepping in for Norbana, Deb. Let me know if you run short of postage and I'll be happy to contribute. Norbana I hope all is well with you. I can only imagine the work that goes into these swaps -- the sorting, labeling, mixing, sending, logging in -- I'm lucky if I can find my scissors and thread half the time much less be responsible for hundreds of blocks. Y'all are my heroes.
