I didn't see an answer to Donna's question. Is this ok and if so would Donna possibly share her digitization? (Is that a word?) :D

Muse&Sew 08-05-2015 06:55 AM

I pm'd her SheriR. Here original pattern was 6 1/4 inches too big for the 6 1/2 inch block. I would love to get her digitized pattern, which I don't have & wish I had. She's been on vacation. Maybe you could pm her.

I would love to share my digitized design but I am summering in Michigan and don't have access to it until I get back home the first week of September. But when I do get home I will try to post it or pm me your email address and I can send it then. I made a few versions of it with a little spider coming off the hat

Gershwin64 08-19-2015 08:55 AM

I'm almost finished with mine, should be in the mail Monday.

Muse&Sew 08-19-2015 10:26 AM

That's great cuppy & Gershwin64. Pm me if you need my address!
I'd love to see pictures too!

Here's another cute orange Witchy Sue. I need to sew her down & will use light thread to help the broom pop.

Regarding Yonnika's blocks, they scream Halloween at me with all those browns.

Precious!! I need to get to work on my witchy Sues...

donna873 08-22-2015 05:32 AM

I can't wait to see everyone's quilts when they get them done, I will get the machine embroidery design resized for next years swap, it has been torture not having access to my stuff while gone.

Muse&Sew 08-22-2015 06:08 AM

Donna we've missed you! You've been the best to let us use your cute pattern! Looking forward to getting the embroidery design!

One down? Do I need to stitch bigger or smaller...or use different colored thread? Does anyone else have such trouble deciding these silly things?

Muse&Sew 08-22-2015 11:12 AM

How cute SherriR! I love your background & all of your Halloween fabrics. I love your thread choice! As far as a bigger or smaller stitch it looks like you used a zigzag stitch. I've been experimenting myself with different applique choices. I've always loved the blanket stitch. Satin stitch is just a closer zigzag stitch. Maybe we can have a discussion from everyone on what tips they've found when doing different Applique stitches.

Muse&Sew 08-22-2015 12:57 PM

Our Witchy Sue Halloween swap is due in 3 weeks. My how time flies. I hope you're all busily sewing away. I'm really excited to see all of your adorable witches!

Everyone's is precious!!

Muse&Sew 08-23-2015 07:49 AM

ibex I love your colorful witchy. So festive!

ibex94 08-24-2015 12:35 PM

With regards to the labels that are needed on the back of the squares being sent in, are they paper labels pinned to the square? I'm not sure about the protocol.... My first swap.

Muse&Sew 08-24-2015 07:43 PM

Ibex, yes they are paper labels pinned to your witchy Sue block. Some people use sticky address labels that they make themselves or use for mailing purposes. We do need to have your username (Ibex94), real name, & state you live in on the label. Also, enclose $6.00 so I can mail your blocks back to you using priority mail!

Thank you for clarifying. I hope to get my witches into the mail for the swap by this weekend. Cheers!

Gershwin64 08-27-2015 08:27 PM

Here are my 2 sets......hopefully

Gershwin64 08-27-2015 08:29 PM

I have no idea how to put a picture here, sorry

Muse&Sew 08-28-2015 08:32 AM

Hi Gershwin64!

To add a picture from your computer you click on the 3rd button from the left (on the quick reply) It's a little square button that if you hover over it is says, insert image. Click on it & it will take you to a screen (From computer or from URL) click on computer, click on browse, find your image on your computer, open it. Then click upload. Hope this helps. If from a URL you'd click on URL, insert your URL address & upload.

If you're not able to figure it out, I can always add the pictures once you send them to me.

Thanks for trying! :)

Muse&Sew 08-28-2015 02:49 PM
