I know what you mean.I had bread coming out of my ears,it was everywhere

tlrnhi 10-16-2010 06:52 PM

Ok, all names are out.
If you signed up and YOU DID NOT get a PM from me with a name, PLEASE let me know ASAP!!

Also, PLEASE put a card in your package so the person you are sending to knows who it is from.

One more thing...
When sending, I know it's hard to be secretive, but with the way the mail goes sometimes and things getting lost, I suggest you do your return address as follows...
SECRET SANTA
YOUR ADDRESS
YOUR CITY, STATE

that way, if it does get lost/undeliverable, it will go back to you instead of in some outer space place.
OR..
Use a relatives return address, but let them know in case the package DOES get returned.

In the past, we have put the same address as the senders for the return address, but some people are a bit leary of doing this.

lab fairy 10-16-2010 06:58 PM

I want to make sure I get this right. The RETURN address should be

Secret Santa Pal
Secret Santa Pal's Address
etc.

or should it be

Secret Santa
my return address
etc.

It's tough being an elf.

tlrnhi 10-16-2010 06:59 PM

To be on the safe side?
I'd put Secret Santa then YOUR address.
Most of the people for their profile have "in hiding" so it will be a bit difficult to figure out who is where

tlrnhi 10-16-2010 07:00 PM

But, then again....you can just send them all to me! :)

Yes, I think we should send them all to Terri. Then she can either hand deliver them or have a big party and have all of us over for the party.
I would like lobster and shrimp. Any other ideas?

sharon b 10-16-2010 07:12 PM

Now, now Teri you know you can't have lots of packages sitting around your house. It is bad enough when you had 1 and it was talking to you could you imagine 200? They would have you in a phych ward before opening day.

trupeach1 10-17-2010 07:52 AM

Did I miss something, when is opening day so we could write DO NOT OPEN UNTIL............on the box.

tlrnhi 10-17-2010 08:08 AM

I'm leaning towards December 12 for opening day.
What would be a good time?
The time would be EST.
What do you think....7PM EST??

Have updated my scheduler, will be one line Dec. 12; 5PM MST.
I know I'll be get a really nice pressie cause I am just a little angel. I all ready gave Santa my wish list. He has come through every year fulfilling my dreams and wishes.

grandme26 10-17-2010 10:29 AM

I have missed almost a whole week of being on the computer and things do change. I will be sending my package by the end of this month. I am taking the plung and having my left hip replaced. At least the re-hab seems easier than a few years ago.

Don't post your address on an open forum. Send it to someone by PM. Anyone in the world can track more information than you want them to know with that kind of thing. Be Safe.

Jennifer22206 10-17-2010 01:52 PM

Works for me! I marked it down on my calendar! I'm so excited!
