well I finished the June quilt, I sure hope certain parties like it!
Ladies I do need your help about something; I know it was posted on here somewhere and am not able to find it. and it may have been the tutorng, but still can't find it Paper piecing, I think it is called. How to quilt with the paper piecing, Could any of you direct me there? would really appreciate it. |
Trying to catch up on this thread, but not caught up but have some comments to make before leaving to get stuff done.
My idea for the dq is shaping up, have blocks all cut and some finished sewn. nancia love the lady and she is good with or without the face. I'd like to hear how you do this too. Making a note for July hope I don't miss the sign up. And I like the idea of solids only for August and just saying it could be all solids and not necessarily "amish". and the humorous could be a good one but I agree it may need some time for developing the perimeters for what is or isn't going to work. And on that link with the Sunbonnet Sue humorous, the french lady and poodle with the eiffel tower on the heads- I saw that very quilt at Quilt National 2009. if anyone wants the info it is by Pam RuBert and titled "Paris-Wish You Were Hair". |

Ronda, I posted your DQ to you right after I got yours so it's on its way and hopefully should be to you late next week (or sooner). More cute quilts! A girl can't be gone for a weekend here...she just misses all the pretties! :) Here's another pic of what I sent that's a tiny bit clearer. :) |
oooooohhhhhh....definitely love the sound of batik and applique (as long as I am not doing the applique) LOL:p

thanks for the closeup pics rwquilts. I was in such a hurry to get one pic taken (and it looks crooked anyways) and get it posted then I haven't had time to go back and take any closeups.

Hello ladies I wanted to show you what my wonderful swap partner made me....Tam...Moo <~Tammy you did an excellent job on what you made me.
