Yeah, I arrived home after a stressful week to find my package from QuilterMomma on my door step! She was very generous and must have sensed that purple is my favorite color as I spot some lovely purples in the mix. I look forward to playing in the scrap pile!

Hi ladies, I just want to reitterate that I do love the scrap bags I received from cogito and judy5cents. I sure hope they don't think I was disappointed. I love them they are with the working pile of scraps for the crazy quilt. It has been hectic and stressful the last week so I have not been able to be on very much. I pmd both of them as well. Thank you for swapping with me. I am not going to be able to do this secret santa scrap swap this time around, so much to do and so little time at moment.

Carrot, I did receive your scraps that you sent me, and I really like them. I am sorry for not posting early when I got them. I fell in my bathroom and ended up with a mild counsion. I had a hard time remembering things for awhile. I want to post a picture of the scraps but I cannot remember how to post them.

Thanks for showing us the quilts Rhonda. I often go to the Pinterest site to get some ideas for a quilt and colors to use in a block or quilt. Another place to go to get some quilt ideas is on Google under Images.

I posted this on the UFO thread...but thought I'd post it here, too, as it is all batik/blender scraps. It's a BOM from Persimmon Quilt website from a couple of years ago. It turned out to be a twin topper as the blocks are 18" each. I love it when I actually get them finished...........

Hi Rhonda...I have only just found this thread, how much fun is this! You remember how hard it was for me to come by fabric when I started with quilting while living over in Spain. Well it made me appreciate every little scrap that I have! Here's a couple of pictures of my latest scrappies!

Thanks Ronda, the heart is around 16" and I use it as a table/candle mat as our accent colours are turquoises in the lounge the blue & white is a work in progress (working on it right now) as it will be 106" square when finished! There are lots of recycled mens shirts in this one!

IZY!!! so glad you found us!! You know I love your stuff! You do good work my friend. I love that heart hotpad! I usually avoid any binding but I can see how that binding really sets off the work in the middle.

Okay everyone it's been awhile since we did any swaps. What do you think? Anyone interested in a scrap swap or an item swap? Scrappy quilt block? Whatever strikes your fancy I'm willing to do.

I've been following this thread off & on and there are so many wonderful projects. Everyone is very talented.

I'm interested in doing a scrappy quilt block swap. Maybe pick a particular pattern??

    I'm in!
