Ladies, as you are going through your scrap piles consider doing a flag. Jenny from Missouri Star had one done with scraps and a tumbler. It was great. Can't wait to start looking through some of my 5" squares.

Postcards are a blast to make. Anything goes. I love decorating the back with markers and rubber stamps.
ill draw some things that go with the front where ived sewed down trims and fussy cut pics. I even bead and applique cute little things onto that tiny post ard. Good for mini panels and such. Fun fun, fun. You gotta try it. Its a little collage waitingto happen.

I love postcards, too. I put mine in plastic envelopes and they can go through the mail for just 20 cents more than a regular postcard. Could we have a postcard swap? I think lots of other people on the board would enjoy doing that. I belong to an art challenge group that would probably have fun joining!

A plastic envelope is a good idea. Do you make them? If so, how?

I used to sell postcards, and I went to a scrap booking or paper supply store to buy the envelopes. The post office people like looking at them, too, as they pass through. I may have even purchased some through JoAnns or Michaels. I'll do some more searching and adding a link. You can buy a package of them, and they don't cost very much.
