So was working on table runner today. I have all three blocks done and sashed them together. Now Im trying to figure which colors look best for outside sashing.. Opinions please.. Connie your opinion will count the most :) :) First picture is a darker green vine print which I think completely gives the piece a different look. The second is using the same material print as in the three blocks. The third was my hubby's suggestion so I thought I would toss it in there..

Well, I laid out jljack's runner on the bed before putting on the border---and you know that "Something doesn't look right" feeling?????got to do just a little ripping out, then on with the border.

Oh I totally know THAT feeling! Wouldn't you know it? It always looks better after it is ripped out and resewn. I can just hear the block saying "i told you so" every time I have to redo it.

I'm gonna go with your hubby's choice. I appreciate it when the men have an opinion! Mine is supportive of my habit but doesn't ever give an actual opinion :)

At least he is supportive of the habit. If you have to have one or the other, take the support of habit vs. actual opinion. Besides, I bet Wes would let you know if he actually HATED something.

Actually as I have left the last choice hanging on the design wall it has the feel of rightness so Im glad you chose that one. I dont think the pictures really compliments the true colors in the various fabrics. Im glad you like it.
