Ours don't either! That would be cool, kinda like the old 5 & dimes!! or general store idea! So really cool!

A great place online is www.alleyfabrics.com. They are reasonable and have LQS fabric!

Ours doesn't either. Maybe because fabric is "soft"ware??

Here are both blocks set up together. I think I should have kept the crown of thorns as orignally planned, but the ones with white look good to. I am sending the original block as part of the set of 12. Now on to another project!!!

Enjoy!!!

My 2 blocks laid out together!

Your blocks are great. I like the darker background one in the middle. Good job!

We had a Ben Franklin 5-dime very close to my home. Their fabric was very good - almost fabric shop quality. They went out of business after 30 years but before they did they had a great sale. Their fabric went on sale for 75% off. I am afraid to tell you how many yards I purchased.

This is a real 1930's block and it reminded me of your piece. Moosegirl
I hate to be a stinker but the dark fabric looks black in the photo. Is it really blue?

Fun2quilt those blocks look awesome! The original block in the center looks much better in the setting than it did alone.
Very nice!

Claudia..I can relate to over-purchasing when you can get it so cheap!!!!!! When one of the local Walmarts closed the fabric dept I bought an unreal amount of the quilting fabric!
And upholstery fabric also!!
