You better eat 2 of those Kelly and go to the jewelers and get a big gold frame for that degree certificate! "I am woman, hear me roar!" Congrats to you

Sorry for being MIA my internet broke. KELLY CONGRATS!! I am in so much awe of you. Math? science? oh heck no! The world needs you. I need you!

I am still not sure what to do with my center. Two more fast boom blocks to go then I can slowly pick away at those but get onto real things like Round robins! still stuck on my first round robins edge. it has stumped me but I did get the fabric for it and like what I picked out.

I don't get my paper degrees until January probably. I rearranged my office area the other day and I've got a huge open space on the wall for both frames.

I have kind of fiddle-farted around all weekend, kind of doing sewing, kind of not. And then today I got sucked into the Buffy marathon on SyFy... I have been relatively unproductive. I need to fix that. Tomorrow.

Ok I know I am showing a bit of my age here but......as soon as I read your first sentence, this popped in my head...."Hey, hey we're the Monkeys! People say we Monkey around..." now I can't get that song out of my head. Hadn't thought of it in over 35 years. Hahaha! Way to go Brat! Lol!

so i've decided to use a panel of a tractor for my center. it will be 12.5" unfinished. i also have a bunch of international harvester (red tractor) fabrics that i will be sending along to make it a little easier. they can be hard to find sometimes. you don't have to use them if they don't work with your idea.
i'm thinking something farm-y. i'll probably give the finished product to my dad or brother cause they both love international harvester stuff.

ok I need a vote: would you rather work on a blue/brown bear quilt that would go woodsy theme or a rooster chick quilt with a farm theme? thinking reds/bits of yellows/barns with quilt logos on theme.. that sorta stuff. two different colorways and themes. I have the bear one done but now have to take the corners out as two of them will lose the points must have sewn them wrong.... and I don't like losing my points. the other has a 12.5 inch center of the rooster farm thing and will get a checkerboard edge to make it 18.5 inches.. such a tough decision and right now I cant begin to think so I need help ok?

Bring them with you and let me see when you come today. I think the blue, brown bear woodsy but not sure. You can just leave it here and I can start my round
