What are you favorite flowers? Mine is pink roses and iris. There sure are some pretty ones in the spring.

Roses, perfect white, lavender/purble (always fragrant, pink roses, pale, but not too pale, I like the roses that are splashed with several colors ( when mine bloom in mar or apr, I will send lots of pics and show you)
I love lilacs, but out here they aren't the same asa back east where it gets cold and they are fragrant.
I prefer flowers that repeat bloom, though for beauty, there are many that only bloom once that are beautiful (like bulbs)
I decided on my block style and the colors for the two inbetween blocks, and am tempted to just drop all the 'organizing ' I was going to do today (wow it's already 8 PM!) I think I will cut out the blocks.

Good Morning Ladies,
I thought I saw everyone's birthdays when I looked at the email from Bookworm late last month. Sherry says they aren't all there, so maybe if everyone sees this in the next few days, we can know what everyone thinks of the "party."
Also, how about everyone posting a picture; of just them, family, whatever.
Must close. Have a great day!
Mariah.

My criteria for fabric is -- I like it I buy it. Sometimes is is around 10.00 a yard and some times I get lucky and get it for alot less. I love a good sale.

I didn't know you can print pictures on fabric. Please tell us how!

Unfortunately mine just passed - Dec 29. But I'll celebrate with the rest of you. When I was growing up I decided when I became an adult I would officially apply for and change my birthdate to June 18. I hated, absolutely hated having a birthday so close to Christmas. One of my grandparents always gave one gift and said it was for both (not that I got any more than my sisters did). The other grandparents were much better and, of course, my parents kept it separate. But I also only had 1 party while in school because everyone was on vacation, so it was definitely the pits. Carol

I try to buy fabric on sale but if I really fall in love with it I will purchase at least 1/2 yd. I just went to JoAnn's this morning and got a 1/2 price red tag clearance that I may now use as my main floral fabric - we'll see. Its not the colors I was going to use but I usually just go with the flow and what looks good that day - I love color, color, color.
When you are all working on my quilt you need not worry about trying to co-ordinate colors. I think having each row different, especially with florals, will add a lot of character to the quilt. Carol

I have not done it, I have just been reading about it on this board. We can type in" print pictures on fabric" on search and see what we come up with.

Maybe we can have a "late party." This Roseysue's was Dec.20--not sure of date; need to check.
Think we have heard from everyone but Sandy about "partying." After we hear from her, we can plan the "party" and even our "show and tell day."
Whoever thought we would have this much fun from our row robin!!

I hadn't seen that on the board about printing onto fabric, but am anxious to learn about it.
