Still trying to get settled. Just not enough storage/closets in this 500 sq ft larger house. Pat put a shelf in a kitchen cabinet today so now the plastics are stacked and reachable. I did empty 4 boxes yesterday and washed some glasses and got them into the china cabinet. Still 3 more boxes in the dining room. My sewing/craft room is an utter disaster. I will probably have to remove it all, get more shelves and then start bringing it back in and organize as I go along.
Found rose fabric for center of squares for RoseySue's quilt yesterday. Now to wash fabric and create that row.

Well, I have pneumonia and I am having a hard time. It started out the first of March when we started having all the winds and the change in seasons. I have been to urgent care 3 times and ER once in the past few weeks. The last few days I have felt a little better. I am getting close to finishing Sandy's row. I hand basted the second section onto the background after completing the last 2 sections of free motion stitching. Now I have to hand baste the last section to the background. Then I have to add about an inch to the top or bottom, because it came out to 11 1/2". :?

Sorry you have been sick, Sherry. Pneumonia is no fun, from my experience. When I had it, I could either go to the hospital, or go see the doc every day for about 10 days. I chose the latter, and was still worn out for awhile. Finally took shots to get some energy.
Take really good care of yourself, and let everyone else wait on you.
    Quilt hugz,
    Martha.

Hope you are getting settled now, Carol. I know it takes a long time before the new house seems like "home." We have moved a lot in prior years.
We have been super busy with yard work, helping hubby in his garden, housework, cleaning closets, ect, then company.
We have had quite a bit of company lately, with the climax being Easter. I know the grandkids wear me out, but we do love for them to come.
More progress is coming up on your row, Carol. I have 2 blocks done-3 more to go. They are all paper-piece, which I enjoy once in awhile.
Tell me again what part of Texas you live in now? Hope my one block fits in okay.
Better close and figure out what we are going to eat tonight.
    Quilt hugz to everyone,
    Martha/Mariah.

Here's some pictures of Sandy's row. I am not finished but I pinned it together to see how it looks. I think it looks best on the top of the rows. As it gets bigger, it is harder to take a picture of the whole thing. See what you think. The left and right sides are the same. I did the best I could do to match them. They are not perfect, but neither am I.

Ver colorful and Wintry; I like it! I have been getting some ideas for Sandy's row lately, so good to see what it looks like so far, as I get hers next!
