We are in central Texas very near Austin - the Capital.
Today my eye is blurry again but I cut the binding and got it sewed on for a large wall hanging that my Mother made about 9 years ago. Only 1 side left to sew down and sew down the sleeve and I can hang it up.
We finally bought a sofa - got it at a 2nd hand store. Already the living room looks better. Now to get 3 chairs and get rid of the camp chairs.
    Slowly but surely!! Carol

Sherry I really like it! Great job. Hope you get to feeling better soon.

Glad to know what part of Texas you moved to. Thought it was W.Texas, but must have dreamed it!
I am sure you will be familiar with "these" that I will have in your row; if not there, in Arizona.
I was going to post earlier, but am so excited about your row I decided to post all at once, and won't be greatly long now! I have to admit; I am better at quilting than at posting!

Today was very productive. I got Pat to move some things around in my "room" so I was actually able to open the cutting table all the way.
I finished up my Mom's wall hanging last night and got it hung - will try to take a pic tomorrow.
I created the quilt top that will go to France today. Tomorrow is the local quilt guild meeting that I plan on attending in the morning and afternoon will be make a back for the quilt, layer and baste. Then the fun part (at least I like it the best - hand quilting).
Tonight we had to go down to Round Rock as our youngest grandson was promoted to the Black Belt Club at his karate class. He is almost 7 and doing quite well - when he listens - lol.
Weather dropped 40 degrees yesterday afternoon in about 4 hours. When Pat grilled our dinner outside at 1:30 it was about 93 and by 5pm it was 55. Brrrrrr!!!! Then it misted all afternoon so was damp and chilly - do not like that at all but we need the moisture so I shouldn't complain.
Hope all is well with everyone. Carol
