I just want to thank you again for allowing us to start early. But most of all I want to thank you for pairing me with such a talented group of women.

Patti ..... It looks beautiful! Our mini quilting group went on a field trip to "The Fat Quarter Quilt Shop" (a new little quilting shop about 20 miles from here) .... it's a small shop, but awesome choices of fabrics. Picked up some pieces for Jacquie's row when it gets here and for a future project. I'll be getting my Row Robin here shortly also, can hardly wait to get started on my borders, etc. Once again your quilt is fabulous and also we couldn't have asked for a better group to be in. I've got a positive idea for your row .... have been going over and over it in my mind, just waiting to see your quilt in person, for color and comparison of fabrics. The fabrics are in the washer right now... getting pre-shrunk, etc.

Sounds like you are getting a good jump on Jacquie's quilt top. It will be so great when everyone has theirs back home.

We should find a quilt show to enter them in. They would have to make a special catagory for the Early Birds Traveling Quilts.

I don't enter quilts in shows that are judged. I'm not that good.
I wouldn't mind doing it for one that isn't judged.

I agree .... I've no interest in a "Judged" show, where you are subjected to a certain judge's likes and dislikes. Our Guild Quilt Shows receive awards by the "Public Voting", which to me makes it a whole lot more fun, for everyone.
