This is one of the baby quilts I've made with come of my 9 patches. This one is for my great-great nephew. It's done with a grayish blue. I have another top ready to quilt done with pinks for my great-great niece.

In case anyone from the swap is still watching for updates on this thread-- I've used some of the blocks in a snowball setting, continuing the points in the border which sort of makes it look like a sister's choice block. (Actually, I used most of the rest of the swap blocks using a sister's choice block pattern-- but that top is still a flimsy. If this thread is still posted when I get that one done, I'll put a picture of it here for you to see too). I got help from SBG for the quilting, and she made loops, meandering, and lots of daisies. It was just what I was dreaming of and SBG made it a reality for me-- a big thanks for all that work! It finished at 74" square.

Whoops! I guess the original swap thread is maybe gone? This was not from the scrappy/white 9patch swap obviously. It was the 9patch swap before that one, where we used two prints.

So lovely... I'm glad you thought my quirky quilting was ok. I enjoyed working on it.

Lovely finish, Givio! The quilting is perfect!

That was a fun swap! All the lovely designs one can do with a basic 9-patch. I'm hoping to have my two tops quilted soon.
